Katie Duda Miller
Hello! Bonjour! Hola!
My name is Katherine "Katie" Miller, and I am a teacher of English Language Learners based in Frederick, Maryland.
I was born Katherine Duda and raised in the great state of
New Jersey. I left home at 17 to attend college and have
lived in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area ever since,
with some time spent abroad.
I keep busy teaching high school, and in my spare time I'm interested in research on school connectedness, learner autonomy, and closing the achievement gap for ELLs.
